ABOUT US...

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, since May of 2013 we have banded together to show our deployed troops they are not forgotten. Founded by Sam McDaniel, our care package troop has grown to include family, friends, local businesses and our communities. Our goal each year is to reach those so far away from home by sending them a care packages full of goodies, ranging from cookies to playing cards to letters/pictures from our area schools. Each May we gather items to fill the boxes and they are packed up and shipped out in June. We are so excited to give back to those who sacrifice so much and hope to put smiles on many faces when they get their care packages!

In 2018, Care Packages from Home obtained it’s 501c3 status and became an official non-for-profit.

There is no paid staff, only volunteers and 100% of all profits go directly to the cause.

Our Mission...

The mission of Care Packages from Home is to show our appreciation to our active duty military, as well as those who have served by sending care packages abroad and honoring local veterans.

What we do…

Care Packages:

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, each May we collect items and assemble care packages which are sent to deployed troops.

Quilts of Valor:

Each year we will award up to 2 Quilts of Valor to local Veterans.

​

Christmas Greetings:

Each year we send Christmas Cards to deployed troops, as well as deliver cards to local veterans.
